My Journey · My Expertise · My Commitment to YouI’m Barbara Kramer, proud owner of Ford Window Treatments, also known as Ford Shutters Shades and Draperies. Since 1949, we’ve been the trusted name for window coverings in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Palm Beach Counties.
My journey with the family business began as a child, organizing fabric books and catalogs at our factory showroom. In high school, I joined the Future Business Leaders of America program, splitting my days between school and working at one of our stores nearby. After high school, I earned a degree in Interior Design and worked for an interior design firm in Coconut Grove. This experience inspired me to start my own design company. A few years later, at my father’s request, I returned to the family business. Today, I lead Ford Window Treatments as its president.
